CRM software gives you the ability to quickly transmit bulk email to your contact lists. This can be very rewarding if managed responsibly and ethically.
•POPI - Keep in mind that in many countries, South Africa included, we are protected by law from receiving unsolicited email and text messages.
•SPAM - Mail service providers do not tolerate SPAM and will filter out emails going through their servers that they believe are SPAM – unwanted, unsolicited communications.
•Amazon Web Services - We have partnered with Amazon to ensure the seamless delivery of email communications using Amazon Simple Email Service. This helps drive higher deliverability and protect sender reputation.
•Make use of stationery and templates to control communication styles.
•Add merge tags to mailers for personalisation.
•Link Tracking - See whether an email was delivered, opened, and whether links in the email were clicked.
•Unsubscribe - Allow recipients to unsubscribe by clicking on a link on the mailer and selecting which mailers they wish to be subscribed to / unsubscribed from.
The email address you wish to send emails from has to be verified to give DevMan permission to use it. You will need to trigger the email verification request.
•The user will receive an email from Amazon Web Services with the subject line that reads: Amazon SES Address Verification Request in region EU (Ireland).
•Once received, they should follow the link in the body of the email, and that will open a page in their browser to confirm the verification.
On the Home page, go to My settings > Email identity.
•If the email address you want to use is not there, type your name in the search box and select.
•Click on the notepad icon next to the email address.
•Select Request - This will send the authorisation request.
•To check if the address has been verified select Check.
•Once an address has been verified, the authorisation date will show:
To send email from DevMan you must have a linked verified email address on your user profile.

Using this feature will help you improve your approach strategy by tracking:
•whether emails have been opened,
•what particularly interests your recipients,
•who has clicked on the links,
•how many times the links were clicked.
To view, select Communication > Email > Sent.
To view mailshots, select Recipient > More than five from the drop down menu.
Click through on the email you want view.
•The summary shows you details about the success of your emails.
•Click on the click % number to view individual links and number of clicks.
•Click on the URL or the click count to view who has clicked on the link.
