DevMan allows you to set up all your business units for an organisation in an easy to see hierarchy using 4 levels.
Your institution may call these Faculty > College > Division > Department. These can be configured to your requirements.
You must have a level 1 faculty/school as the parent if your type is level 2, 3 or 4.
Level 1 - Faculty or equivalent
Level 2 - School or equivalent
Level 3 - Department
Level 4 - Unit

Add a business unit
1.Select Organisation > Business units > Add new business unit
2.Enter the details of the business unit, and select the Level / Type and the Parent where applicable (see Tips & best practice).
3.Select Save > Save and close. |
View business units
1.Select Organisation > Business units > View business units.

Edit a business unit
1.Select the business unit you want to edit from the View business units list, and the business unit profile will display. Select edit and add or change information.
2. Once you have made the changes, select Save > Save and close.

Link a project to a business unit
When adding a new project for a faculty / school / department, use the inline search to link it to the organisation or business unit running the project.
